Rod Cameron is a founding director of the company who is a highly experienced senior financial executive and adviser, with an extensive proven track record in delivering excellent commercial results. During his career, he has raised in excess of $10 billion debt on some of the largest and most complex transactions.
Rod has been the Chief Financial Officer of a US multinational power generation company during which time he served as company director, Chairman and joint venture representative of numerous businesses in Australia, Singapore, Taiwan and India. He also has a strong background in the coal industry having worked for the multinationals Rio Tinto and Atlantic Richfield for a number of years in various analytical roles. During his career he has worked in the telecommunications, airport, seaport and manufacturing industries. Most recently Rod has developed a very successful project and corporate finance advisory business.

Peter Sonsie is a founding director of the company who has 30 years banking experience, including 20 years experience in project finance with an involvement with many of the major infrastructure and utility finance transactions.
Peter has been a Director Project and Structured Finance at ANZ where he had senior roles in the financing of Transurban’s Citylink transaction and the privatisation of Loy Yang A Power Station. He also led the financing for the development of Millmerran Power Station in Queensland for Intergen. Peter has also worked at National Australia Bank where he was Head of Project Finance, Melbourne. During his banking career he has financed projects in the infrastructure, airport, seaport and energy industries. Peter has recently moved his focus to advisory opportunities in the corporate and project finance sectors.

Chris Tonkin is a very experienced business executive with strong commercial expertise and an extensive background in providing financial, management and strategic products, services and advice to industry. His record in banking and finance has spanned more than 30 years and he has been instrumental in the capital structuring, financing and development of many companies, major projects, divestments and acquisitions across all major industry sectors, both within Australia and internationally.
Chris began his career as a metallurgist and environmental specialist, followed by management, business development, marketing and merger and acquisition roles at several major industrial companies and senior financing and management roles at AIDC, The Chase Manhattan Bank, KPMG Corporate Finance and ANZ. His executive roles over 16 years at ANZ encompassed Head of Project and Structured Finance (servicing the Natural Resources, Power and Utilities, Telecommunications and Media, and Infrastructure sectors), Head of Transaction Management and Executive Director and Global Head of Natural Resources, Project and Structured Finance. In these capacities, Chris was responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, management and performance of the businesses under his control and for originating, executing and managing advisory/arranging mandates with companies and projects engaged in complex financings.
Over his career to date, Chris has been involved in senior financial advisory and/or arranging roles in more than 60 transactions cumulatively exceeding $40 billion.

Chris has worked for over 30 years in the finance and accounting industries, the majority of which has been at ANZ in its Project & Structured Finance (“PSF”) division as joint head of the division and head of the power and renewable energy team.
Chris joined ANZ’s PSF Division in 1991 after six years with Capel Court Investment Bank and National Mutual Royal Bank. Prior to joining National Mutual Royal Bank, Chris was a manager at Price Waterhouse Coopers in its Corporate Services Department for 8 years.
Chris’ principal activities at ANZ included responsibility for a broad range of project and structured financings commencing with the feasibility and evaluation stage, through to financial and corporate structuring and ultimately fund raising and implementation of the chosen financial instruments. Under Chris’ leadership, ANZ PSF became the leading debt arranger and lender to the power generation and renewable energy sectors in Australia. Chris has directly or indirectly been involved in the debt arranging of virtually all privately owned power generation and renewable energy projects in Australia.
